Sometimes Odoo does not manage to address incoming messages. For example, it happens when your customer doesn't reply to a message, but sends a direct email to your catchall address. In that case such email is completely lost, while clients become more and more irritated. This tool solves the issue. With this app you gets full control over all lost messages and you can attach any Odoo message to a proper document thread.
No Odoo messages are lost
The app improves Odoo messages routing. If any email can't be attached, it would be marked as 'lost' and would be added to the special view
All unattached messages in a single list
All messages which Odoo has not managed to route are kept under the special top entry menu 'Lost messages'
Simple addressing of lost messages
To route a lost message push the button 'Route manual' and select a target document (for example Contact > Agrolait). As the wizard is saved, a message would be instantly added to that object.
Mass processing
The app allows batch addressing through the tree mass action. In such a way, a few messages might be added to the same Odoo document
Odoo objects
Restrict Odoo models to which messages might be routed: Lost Messages > Settings > the section 'Lost messages allowed models' (for example, to orders and opportunities only). If not selected, it would be possible to address a message to any object
Notification of unattached emails
Configure Odoo to send notifications by lost messages. Go to the Odoo general settings > Email Section and check the box 'Lost messages notification'. Then choose users or/and mail channels which should be warned
Secured administration
The features are available for users with the special right Lost Messages Manager. Take into account: the module makes all unattached messages available for that group
Not only lost messages
The tool works also with normal messages. Via the same button 'Route manual' Odoo admins might re-attach messages to another object.

After routing, the message is moved to other messages. You can find it in the technical menu ‘Messages’, from which you can reroute it to the right object’s thread.
You can specify the models for routing. For that, open the module's settings by clicking on the tab 'Configuration', find the section 'Lost messages allowed models', define the models, which could be used to route messages to, and click 'Save'. After that, only stated in this field models will be available for a user to attach a message.
Yes, you can route any Odoo message. To that goal, admin users in developer mode should go to the menu Settings > Technical > Discuss > Messages; select required ones, push the Action > Route Manual.

The easiest approach is to use the Odoo store built-in workflow:
1. Open the module's page and click the button Deploy on odoo.sh
2. After that, you will be redirected to the GitHub page. Login to your account and click 'Create a new repo' or use the existing one. Please, make sure, that your repository is private. It is not permitted to publish the apps under the OPL-1 license. If necessary, create a new repo for your Odoo.sh project
3. Then, go to odoo.sh and click on the deploy button, submit the decision in the pop-up window and click 'Continue'. The action will trigger the installation process.
These steps will install the app for your project production branch. If you want to deploy the apps for other branches or update the module, you should undertake the following actions:
1. Upload the source code for the app from the Odoo store
2. Commit the module to a required GitHub repository. Make sure that none of the app folders/files are ignored (included in the .gitignore of your repo). Repositories are automatically created by odoo.sh, which might add by default some crucial items there (e.g. /lib). You should upload all module directories, subdirectories, and files without exceptions
3. Deploy a target branch of the odoo.sh project or wait until it is automatically built if your settings assume that.
Unzip the source code of the purchased tools in one of your Odoo add-ons' directories;
Re-start the Odoo server;
Turn on the developer mode (technical settings);
Update the apps' list (the apps' menu);
Find the app and push the button 'Install';
Follow the guidelines on the app's page if those exist.

A red/orange warning itself does not influence features of the app. Regretfully, sometimes our modules do not pass standard automatic tests, since the latter assumes behavior which is in conflict with our apps goals. For example, we change price calculation, while standard Odoo module tests compare final price to standard algorithm.
So, first of all, please check deployed database features. Does everything work correctly?

Yes, all modules marked in dependencies are absolutely required for a correct work of our tool. Take into account that price marked on the app page already includes all necessary dependencies.
The price for our modules is set up in euros. The Odoo store converts prices in others currencies according to its internal exchange rate. Thus, the price in US Dollars may change, when exchange rate changes.
