Generate and apply to product templates multiple numerical attribute values in batch
Select to which product template and which product attribute would be applied to new values. Enter some comment if you need to display it near numerical value (e.g. ' GB' to show '16 GB')
Define a start value (the first possible value), a maximum value (values would not exceed it) and an increment (only feasible options would be created). All the figures may have fractions (e.g., 1.22)
Use a few lines to avoid unnecessary values
Press "Generate" to create and apply the attribute values and make the list of product variants. Be patient: it may take quite long to create thousands of products
Press "Exclude" to unlink attribute values from a certain template and an attribute
Use case
- Imagine, you are manufacturing tables made to order
- Due to equipment restrictions, the potential width of those tables is from 40cm to 80cm, and from 120cm to 160cm. You find it rational to produce only even-number-width tables (42cm, 44cm, etc.)
- Thus, you go to the product template "Table" and press the button "Num Attributes" (the tab "Variants")
- In the field "Select or create new attribute" you choose "Width"
- You enter '' cm" in the "Comment" field
- You have 2 lines in the configuration table: (1) 40 – 80 – 2; (2) 120 – 160 – 2.
- You press "Generate" and have the list of all feasible tables

We are strongly motivated to improve our tools and would be grateful for any sort of feedback. In case your requirements are of public use and might be efficiently implemented, the team would include those in our to-do list.
Such a to-do list is processed on a regular basis and does not assume extra fees. Although we cannot promise deadlines and final design, it might be a good way to get desired features without investments and risks.
